MNE 2014 Start-up Contest
For the first time at MNE a contest will be organised for start-ups.
The aim is to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the fields covered by the MNE conference. Young companies that are active in these areas can apply. The finalists will have the opportunity to present their start-ups to a large audience during the conference, and they will be able to discuss their technologies and products with other experts in the field and with potential customers.
Here are the confirmed participating companies at the MNE 2014 contest. A prize will be awarded to the winner of the contest.

Eligibility & Conditions
The contest is open to companies :
- founded after 1 January 2011 (note that start-ups must already be registered as a company. Start-ups still in the planning state are excluded.)
- that are active in an area of MNE (see 'Scope of the conference", here), and
- that have innovative technologies and products with market potential.
- Presenting start-up representatives need to be registered participants of MNE 2014.
Start-ups that are nominated to present at MNE 2014 will be notified by July 18, 2014.
Presenting start-ups will be offered a slot for a short presentation in a plenary session and space for a poster in the poster and exhibition area.
